Medicare EPC Programme

EPC referrals are welcome, however you will be charged and billed as normal private patients. If you choose to use the EPC rebates, you will not be able to also use Private Health extras to pay for your treatment. This system is dictated by Medicare. We offer our patients the convenience of claiming the Medicare rebate when paying the account, using the “Medicare Easyclaim” system. Following full account payment by cash, or card, we will swipe your Medicare card and the rebate is paid directly into your Medicare nominated bank account almost immediately.

Workcover

To be eligible for treatment under the Victorian Workcover system, we require written authorisation from your employer signifying acceptance of the claim.

DVA

Gold and White Card holders require a referral (D904) from their GP to be eligible for treatment under the DVA system.

TAC

Consultations for injuries relating to TAC injuries will be billed as private until TAC medical excess is reached. After this Eligible patients will have access to TAC consultations at this practice.
