Practice Principal
Matthew Brewer

Matthew joined the practice in 2004. A graduate of La Trobe University's Bachelor of Physiotherapy, he has many years of experience in acute hospital and community settings both in Australia and the UK, including the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, and Whipps Cross Hospital, London,
Matthew's special areas of interest include paediatric physiotherapy, lumbo-pelvic instability, rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates. He is a keen cyclist and has undertaken further study in the biomechanics and injuries particular to this sport.
Matthew is always looking for new answers to help patients with their problems, and enjoys tackling the problem solving of the trickiest of cases.
When he's not at the practice, Matthew is totally occupied with his family, and if there is any time after that, watching Star Trek.
Staff Physiotherapists
Jes Lin Lim
Jes graduated from La Trobe University with Masters of Physiotherapy Practice and joined the Williamstown Physiotherapy team in January 2020. She has had experience working in a wide variety of settings both in Melbourne and overseas. Jes is also fluent in Malay and Mandarin.
Jes was drawn to the physiotherapy profession from a very young age through her love for sports, predominantly Taekwondo and Badminton. She has had experience working with the Powerhouse Amateur Football Club, which equipped her with the skills required to treat both acute and chronic sports-related injuries. Her experience has also allowed her to understand the importance of a successful rehabilitation following a sports-related injury.
Jes holds a strong interest in human anatomy and has a strong desire to help people recover from their injuries so that they can return to doing things that matter most to them. As a physiotherapist, she believes that quality hands-on manual therapy and active rehabilitation are keys to a successful rehabilitation.
Chris Choi
Chris joined the Williamstown Physiotherapy team in 2020 after graduating from University of Melbourne with a Doctorate of Physiotherapy degree. He has previous experience working at a private clinic practice in America. While working at the practice, he had exposure to a variety of different injuries. Extending from Chris’ experiences, he has an appreciation for providing clients with an individualized and holistic treatment plan.
Chris has a special interest in sports and fitness of all kinds as he has been involved in sports throughout his life (involving Gridiron, Wrestling and Speed Skating), and is keen to expanding his knowledge of Australian sports. He has been a sports trainer for various clubs of Football and Soccer, in which he has a great understanding of sports-related injuries and sport-specific rehabilitation. Chris has a strength and conditioning (ASCA level 1) certification. Multi-talented Chris is also fluent in Korean.
